# glosignal

> A tech news aggregator. It pulls from 16 sources every hour, deduplicates
> stories by URL and title similarity, scores each cluster by source authority,
> recency and cross-source corroboration, and publishes the result as a ranked
> list with an AI-written brief behind each story.

Stories at or above a score of 12 are "Signal"; the rest are "Static". Every
brief is generated by a language model from the source article and is labelled
as such on the page. The number of independent outlets covering a story is
shown on every story, and the outlets are named.

Source articles belong to their publishers; glosignal links to them and does
not reproduce them. What glosignal writes is the brief, the score and the
grouping.
