Amazon’s new Fire TV Stick 4K can pull power directly from your TV

Amazon has released a new Fire TV Stick 4K, priced at $59.99, which simplifies setup by drawing power directly from a TV's USB port, eliminating the need for a separate power adapter. This update aligns with Amazon's strategy to streamline its Fire TV product line, reducing the number of distinct models to four: the Fire TV Stick HD, Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Stick 4K Max, and Fire TV Cube. The new 4K stick replaces previous "Select" and "Plus" 4K models. Accompanying the device is a redesigned Fire TV Remote with enhanced tactile controls and an asymmetrical shape, compatible with most Fire TV devices from 2019 onwards. A premium version of the remote with an aluminum design and backlit buttons is slated for release next year.
