Bose has launched two new models of its open-ear earbuds. The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds (2nd Gen) are an update to their popular clip-on design, featuring improved sound with more bass and higher volume, enhanced battery life up to nine hours (plus 19.5 from the case), and a new Cinema Mode for an immersive soundstage. They will be available for preorder on September 19th for $299 and shipping on October 1st in multiple color options. Bose also introduced the Sport Open Earbuds, a more budget-friendly option at $199, designed for a secure fit during physical activity with a matte silicone finish and textured buttons for easier touch control. These earbuds offer up to seven hours of playback, with an additional 22 hours provided by the charging case, and will also be available for preorder on September 19th. Both models allow users to hear their surroundings while listening to audio, with automatic volume adjustments to compensate for ambient noise.
