ElevenLabs says users can now publish AI-generated music made with ElevenMusic directly on SoundCloud and that users have created 25M+ tracks using its models

You can now upload AI-generated music from ElevenLabs directly to SoundCloud, bypassing manual uploads.

Audio AI company ElevenLabs announced that users can now publish AI-generated music created with its ElevenMusic platform directly to SoundCloud. This integration allows artists to share their creations with a wider audience beyond the ElevenLabs ecosystem. As part of a promotional offer, SoundCloud Artist Pro users receive three months of ElevenMusic Pro, which includes generating up to 1,000 songs per month, splitting song stems 500 times, and utilizing five custom styles or vocals. ElevenLabs has seen significant adoption, with users generating over 25 million tracks since releasing its music-generation model in 2025. SoundCloud is also exploring AI integration, having previously partnered with Moises for song export/import and integrating with platforms like Google Flow Music and Hook. This move positions SoundCloud as a key platform for distributing AI-generated music.

This partnership between ElevenLabs and SoundCloud signals a growing trend of major streaming platforms embracing AI-generated content, moving beyond simple integrations to direct publishing channels. SoundCloud's willingness to directly host AI music, especially with a prominent provider like ElevenLabs, contrasts with other platforms like Deezer and Bandcamp, who are implementing filters or outright bans. This move could influence how other music services approach AI music distribution and artist acceptance.

The integration suggests a potential shift in the music industry's monetization and discovery models, as AI-generated content becomes more accessible to artists and listeners on mainstream platforms. The promotional offer to SoundCloud Artist Pro users indicates an effort to onboard creators and encourage the use of AI tools, potentially expanding the volume and variety of music available on the platform.
