Ember’s new temperature-controlled mug makes my nightly tea ritual even better

Ember has released its third-generation temperature-controlled smart mug, the Mug 3, which offers several upgrades over its predecessors. The most significant change is the addition of on-mug controls, allowing users to adjust the drink temperature through five preset levels (125-145°F) using a button on the mug's base, eliminating the need to open the companion app. The mug also features a new sliding lid to prevent spills and can maintain a set temperature for up to three hours on a single charge. Additionally, the Mug 3 is the first Ember mug designed to be top-rack dishwasher-safe for easier cleaning. The 10-ounce model is priced at $129 and the 14-ounce version at $149. Ember also introduced the Tumbler 2, a 16-ounce insulated tumbler with a redesigned, slimmer profile for car cup holders, available for $179.
