Logitech’s new Blue Yeti 2 mic adjusts itself to where you are

Logitech G has launched the Blue Yeti 2, a successor to the original Blue Yeti USB microphone, for $159.99. This new model features an interactive LED display, AI de-noising, and a proximity-based voice sensor that automatically adjusts gain, EQ, and pickup patterns based on the user's distance from the microphone. This feature aims to simplify audio setup for content creators by preserving recording quality without manual adjustments. The microphone supports up to 24-bit / 48 kHz high-resolution capture and includes integrated DSP for voice clarity and AI noise removal. The LED display also provides visual feedback on audio settings. The launch price is notably close to the original Blue Yeti's initial price point, despite Logitech's acquisition of Blue in 2018 and subsequent integration into the Logitech G brand.
