OpenAI announces ChatGPT Space, a collaborative hub for shared pages and files, available on Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans; it replaces Library

OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Space, a new collaborative hub designed for work projects and personal AI agents. This feature replaces the existing Library and allows teams to organize uploaded files, ChatGPT-generated content, and information accessed by personal AI agents within a shared space. ChatGPT Space is accessible on OpenAI's Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans, initially rolling out to the ChatGPT desktop app and web interface, with mobile availability to follow. Additionally, a new plugin can record meeting audio, generate notes and summaries with action items, and add them to a space, deleting the original audio afterward. This plugin will be available on the ChatGPT desktop app for macOS for Pro and Business users, with Enterprise access coming later. OpenAI also announced that ChatGPT will integrate with Slack and Microsoft Teams for Business and Enterprise customers, enabling users to interact with the AI directly within these platforms.

The introduction of ChatGPT Space signifies OpenAI's strategic push into enterprise collaboration tools, directly competing with platforms like Notion and Google Workspace by integrating AI capabilities into shared workspaces.
