Spotify’s Fresh Finds Forward gives artists free studio time and more

Spotify has launched Fresh Finds Forward, a new program designed to provide artists with resources to leverage exposure gained from being featured on Spotify's Fresh Finds playlists. Artists added to any Fresh Finds playlist after January 1, 2026, are eligible to receive 12 months of support. Key benefits include complimentary studio time at renowned locations like Electric Lady Studios in NYC for US-based artists, early access to Spotify's upcoming tools and features, and priority for tour and music video partnerships. Additionally, participants will receive 12-month subscriptions to Landr Studio Pro and Splice's Creator Plan, along with six months of free therapy sessions via BetterHelp. Spotify has stated that, unlike its previous Discovery Mode, Fresh Finds Forward will not alter royalty rates and is entirely free for artists.

This initiative signals a strategic pivot for Spotify, moving beyond mere algorithmic discovery to actively cultivating artist careers.
