Vantora, formerly known as UP.Labs, has secured over $100 million in funding from Silversmith Capital Partners. The startup studio, which focuses on building AI-native solutions for corporate clients, is pivoting its strategy. Previously, Vantora developed startups for both corporate customers and the broader market. Now, the company will exclusively build ventures for its corporate partners, who will invest in and serve as the initial customers for these new entities. This shift allows Vantora to focus on proprietary mergers and acquisitions and pursue opportunities that were previously too sensitive for public release, particularly in the realm of physical AI applications. Vantora launched in 2022 and has worked with partners like Porsche, Alaska Airlines, J.B. Hunt, Wabash, and TDG.

Vantora's new strategy, supported by a substantial funding round, signals a growing trend of corporate-specific innovation hubs.
