Major tech firms like Meta, X, Google, and Microsoft are already participants. Between 2023 and 2025, Lantern members have collectively shared over two million signals of potentially violating behavior. In addition to joining Lantern, TikTok's U.S. venture is committing $2 million to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) to help modernize its CyberTipline with advanced tools for faster detection and reporting of child exploitation and abuse.
